“Spring Symphonies IV” is an original piece meant to celebrate Spring, delving into its textures and layers of color that grow wild in a unique and special symphony.
These spring layers are represented here by small handwoven tapestries in Arraiolos wool – later sewn onto the base tapestry – and by the jute fringes, conveying a sense of movement and growth so prevalent in nature.
This tapestry, woven in jute and Arraiolos wool on a frame loom, embodies care, patience, love, and respect for this ancient technique.

Avoid moisture except to gently steam the fringe if necessary shortly after installation. Use clean hands to comb through fringe or straighten strings at the top, careful to avoid snagging fibers. No maintenance cleaning is necessary besides gently dusting with a feather dusty as needed.
